Where she started
Anna's dental story began with a car accident in her early twenties. Every one of her upper teeth was damaged. What followed was decades of repairs: root canals, crowns, and eventually three dental implants placed over the years to hold it all together.
Each fix bought time, but none of it was built to last forever. By the time she came to us, in her words, “My mouth was falling apart.”
Starting over, the right way
When teeth, crowns and older implants are all failing at once, patching one more tooth just restarts the cycle. Dr. Advani's plan cleared the slate on the upper jaw and rebuilt it as one strong, fixed bridge. In one surgical visit he:
- Removed her failing upper teeth, along with her three old implants. Taking out existing implants and placing new ones in the same visit takes careful planning and a 3D CT scan.
- Placed 5 new implants in her upper jaw, positioned with X-Nav 3D navigation.
- Attached a fixed set of teeth the same day, so she went home smiling.
Her lower teeth didn't need a full arch. Dr. Advani restored them individually, with a single implant and crowns, keeping the healthy teeth she still had. The right plan isn't always the biggest one.
The final smile
After healing, Anna received her final zirconia bridge: strong, stain-resistant, and backed by our 10-year warranty. It's a full-arch design with natural-looking gum built in (FP3), which restores the lip support and gum line that decades of tooth loss had taken away. Dr. Advani handled every step himself, from the extractions and implants to the final teeth.

“Dr. Advani was very thorough explaining all the procedures.”

My mouth was falling apart. I was in a car accident in my early 20s, and all my upper teeth were damaged. They had to be root canaled and crowned, and I had three implants done throughout the years. All those teeth had to be removed, along with the implants. Dr. Advani was very thorough explaining all the procedures. So was all the staff. Everybody was very friendly, helpful, and full of information.

Quick answers
Can old or failing implants be replaced?
Often, yes. Anna's three older implants were removed and five new implants were placed in the same surgical visit. A 3D CT scan shows how much bone remains and where new implants can go.
Do I need implants on both jaws?
Not always. Anna had a full-arch bridge on her upper jaw, while her lower teeth were restored individually with a single implant and crowns. Each arch is planned on its own.
What does FP3 mean?
An FP3 bridge replaces the teeth and also the gum that has been lost, using natural-looking gum-colored material. It restores lip support and fills the space left after years of tooth and bone loss.
