Why it matters who does each step
At many implant offices, full-arch treatment is split between several people. A treatment coordinator may handle your consultation. One doctor places the implants. A different provider, or a lab technician, makes and fits your teeth. Each of them sees only part of your case.
That matters because full-arch implants aren't two separate jobs. The teeth decide where the implants should go, and the implants decide how well the teeth fit, look and last. When one doctor does both, nothing gets lost between the surgery and the smile.
It starts with meeting you
Your consultation is with Dr. Advani himself. Along with your 3D CT scan, he pays attention to things a scan can't show: how you smile, how you talk, how much of your teeth show when your lips move, and the shape of your face. That's what he uses to design the size and shape of your new teeth, so they match your mouth and lips and work well when you eat and speak.
Teeth first, then implants
Implants can't be properly planned until the teeth are designed. Dr. Advani designs your new teeth first, then positions each implant to support them, with every case planned in two separate programs. The surgeon who places your implants already knows exactly where your teeth need to be, because he designed them.
When surgery doesn't go exactly to plan
Even with a 3D scan, the amount and quality of bone can turn out different once surgery begins. When the implant surgeon is also the doctor who designs and places your teeth, he can adapt on the spot, choosing implant positions with your final teeth in mind. If those are two different people, the person making your teeth has to work around decisions they didn't make.
Your teeth, designed and finished by the same hands
Dr. Advani has placed zirconia bridges for 14 years, and since 2019 he has designed, milled and finished bridges in our in-office lab. He personally designs every arch for every patient, then shapes, shades and finishes the teeth himself before fitting them. Your bridge isn't shipped out to a lab technician who has never seen your smile.
- ConsultationDr. Advani meets you himself. He reviews your 3D CT scan, and watches how you smile, talk and move your lips.
- Tooth designYour new teeth are designed first: size, shape, length and position, built around your face and lips.
- Implant planImplants are planned to support those teeth, in two separate planning programs.
- Surgery & sedationHe places your implants with X-Nav live 3D navigation and personally watches your sedation throughout.
- Temporary teethHe designs your same-day teeth, has them 3D-printed in our office, and fits them himself.
- Final teethHe designs, mills, finishes and fits your final zirconia or NanoCeramic bridge in our in-office lab.
- The years afterMaintenance visits at the same address, with the same doctor who did the work.
Experience you can check
Dr. Advani has 14 years of experience surgically placing full-arch implants and has placed and restored more than 2,500 implants. He has also completed more than 1,000 hours of continuing education in dental implants and sedation. Other dental offices also bring him in to perform implant surgery and bone grafting for their patients. See his background and training.
Why long-term follow-up matters
Dr. Advani has practiced at the same address, on the Ascension Alexian Brothers campus in Elk Grove Village, since 2012. He sees his own full-arch patients years later: how the bridges wear, how the gums respond, and what holds up. More than 1,200 implants that Dr. Advani surgically placed and restored himself now have over 10 years of history. Those lessons go into every new case.
That's hard to match at an office that opened recently, or where doctors come and go every few years. And when your bridge has a 10-year warranty, it matters that the doctor who did the work is likely to still be here to honor it.

Common questions
Does the same doctor do my consultation, surgery and final teeth?
Yes. At Advani Implant Institute, Dr. Vishal Advani meets you at your consultation, designs your teeth, places your implants, watches your sedation, and personally designs, finishes and fits both your temporary and final teeth.
Why does it matter if the surgeon also makes the teeth?
Full-arch implants are planned around the teeth. The teeth are designed first, then the implants are positioned to support them. If bone quality or quantity is different than expected during surgery, a doctor who also designs the teeth can adjust implant positions on the spot with the final result in mind.
How long has Dr. Advani been doing full-arch implants?
Dr. Advani has 14 years of experience surgically placing full-arch implants and placing zirconia bridges, and has designed, milled and finished bridges in his in-office lab since 2019. He has practiced at the same Elk Grove Village address since 2012.
What warranty comes with full-arch zirconia bridges?
Zirconia bridges come with a 10-year warranty covering the bridge and the implants, with regular 6-month hygiene visits at our office.
What should I ask other implant offices?
Ask who does your consultation, who designs and places your temporary and final teeth, how long the doctor has practiced at that location, what warranty is offered, and whether they can show you patients they treated 10 or more years ago.
