Why the material matters
A full-arch bridge has to handle years of chewing forces, look natural, and resist staining. Three materials are common for full-mouth implant bridges, and they differ mainly in strength, how they wear, and how easily they can be repaired.
Acrylic (hybrid) bridges
Acrylic teeth set on a metal framework have been used for decades. They cost the least and are easy to adjust and repair, but acrylic wears down, stains, and can chip or crack over time. Acrylic is also the usual material for same-day temporary bridges, which are designed to be worn only during healing.
NanoCeramic bridges
NanoCeramic is a semi-permanent bridge material that combines ceramic particles with a resin. It looks better and holds up better than acrylic, is lighter and a little more forgiving than zirconia, and can be adjusted. It is not as strong or stain-resistant as zirconia, so some caution with very hard foods is wise.
At Advani Implant Institute, NanoCeramic starts at $13,395 per arch (from about $168/month financed) with a 3-year warranty. You can upgrade to zirconia for $5,000 per arch within the first three years, or $9,650 per arch after that.
Zirconia bridges
Monolithic zirconia is the strongest option and highly resistant to staining and wear, which is why it's our standard for permanent bridges. Dr. Advani designs each zirconia bridge in-office and it is milled on our in-house 5-axis mill. Zirconia is harder to adjust once finished, so careful design and a try-in beforehand matter.
Zirconia starts at $16,875 per arch and carries a 10-year warranty covering chips, cracks, breaks, and implant failure, as long as you keep 6-month hygiene visits and stay tobacco-free.

Which should you choose?
- Zirconia if you want the longest-lasting, most stain-resistant result and the strongest warranty.
- NanoCeramic if you want fixed teeth now at a lower cost, with the option to upgrade later.
- Either way, the same implants and surgery are used, so the material choice doesn't change the surgical plan.
Want teeth that look like they grow from your own gums? That's about bridge design as much as material; see the Advani A6™ (FP1).
Common questions
Is zirconia worth the extra cost?
For most patients who can afford it, yes: it's the strongest and most stain-resistant option and carries our 10-year warranty. NanoCeramic is a good way to get fixed teeth at a lower cost now, with an upgrade path.
Can I upgrade from NanoCeramic to zirconia later?
Yes. At Advani Implant Institute the upgrade is $5,000 per arch within the first three years and $9,650 per arch after that.
What are same-day temporary teeth made of?
Usually acrylic. They are designed to be worn during the 3–4 months of healing, then replaced with your final bridge.
